Project description
This offshore supply vessel was leaking 40 litres / day of oil through its metallic outboard face seal. Initially the owner was planning to remove the vessel from service for an emergency docking to re-furbish the seal. After consultation with AtZ Marine, the owner ordered a special ABCON® Stop Leak product developed specifically for face seal arrangements. After application the leakage was reduced to zero and an expensive emergency dry docking was avoided.
