Project description
Marbella Carrier, was drydocked after purchase following a period of cold lay-up. On investigation it was discovered that the sterntube bearing was damaged beyond repair. AtZ Marine were consulted and arranged the supply and fitting of a new sterntube bearing within 1 week. Additionally AtZ Marine arranged measurement of the sterntube to ensure the new bearing was machined with the correct offset as the vessels original drawings were missing. AtZ Marine also supplied the sterntube seal spare parts including the chrome steel liners.
