We are delighted to announce the arrival of Simon Thompson, who joins the AtZ team as Business Development Executive. With a wealth of expertise in design engineering from over 12 years at propulsion giant Wӓrtsilӓ, spending the past four years as a consultant engineer working specifically on marine and industrial hydro.
Travelling the world, Simon has supported service work on vessels docked in Dubai, Singapore and Canada to name but a few, dealing directly with both customers and end users.
Excited to now be part of AtZ, Simon is looking forward to applying his expertise in marine seals and bearings to our existing customer base and projects, alongside uncovering new customers and opportunities. He hopes to help shape the future of AtZ, as the organisation goes from strength to strength.
In his spare time, Simon has two young children and volunteers for his local scout district as an activities planner.
We wish him a warm welcome, and Simon looks forward to engaging with our customers over the coming months.
