A full service provider for stern seal and propulsion service, ARGIR are make -independent and therefore offer service and spares suitable for all major propulsion systems, and are the only sterntube seal service company with class approval for bonding procedures.
In June, the AtZ team were invited to the AEGIR offices and factory located in Wijk bij Duurstede in the Netherlands, where they spent three days with the AEGIR team and their product specialists. The training consisted of an overview of the history of AEGIR, a workshop training session on Seals and Thrusters and a showcase of their impressive technical facilities. The team were also lucky enough to spend some time on the factory floor and were show some of AEGIRS manufacturing processes.
Via AtZ, AEGIR have class A approved spares for all Wartsila seal designs (Dover, JMT MKII, Waukesha etc), class approved spares for all Kobelco seal designs (C and X type and class approved spares for Bhlom & Voss seal designs (C and SCII type), along with the class approved supply of chrome steel liners, spacer rings, net cutters, zinc anodes.
