Project description
The project we were asked to advise on was to convert two of the world’s biggest tankers into floating storage offshore units, FSO’s with capability to remove drill water and return in clean condition to the drilling rigs. AtZ Marine was asked to provide 3 Zone II hazardous area oil-in-water monitoring devices for location in the pump room. We designed, installed and commissioned 2 Deckma Hamburg OMD-7MKII air purged cabinets for measuring oil in water in the produced water and 1 Deckma Hamburg OMD-17A for measuring oil-in-water in the voc overboard line. AtZ also provided dedicated service support and annual calibration and system safety checks for the equipment.
