Ensuring your business remains complaint and operational

We understand the importance of adhering to environmental regulations and ongoing compliance. Our environmental monitoring and filtration services are specifically designed to help our customers achieve regulatory standards on board their vessels. Ensuring your business remains complaint and operational.
We are official agents for Deckma Hamburg, the experts in oil-in-water monitoring and Wave International, who’s technology is designed to keep our oceans cleaner.

Bilge Water Filtration

All marine vessels will tend to accumulate some bilge water, and with a mixture of oils and other hydrocarbons on board, discharging directly to the sea is irresponsible, and indeed illegal in many situations. Waste oily water is a by-product created by ocean going vessels globally which runs into millions of tonnes annually. A mixture of water, oily fluids, lubricants and greases accumulate in the lowest part of each vessel known as the bilges.
While larger vessels above 400 gross tonnes are well regulated, smaller vessels have differing requirements. AtZ can offer a range of filtration systems which can selectively remove hydrocarbons from bilge water as well as particulate matter. In cases where older oily water processing equipment is fitted – performance can be improved by the addition of bilge water filtration.

Bilge Water Monitoring

Waste oily water is a by-product created by ocean going vessels which runs into millions of tonnes annually. A mixture of water, oily fluids, lubricants and greases accumulate in the lowest part of each vessel known as the bilges. The fluids come from a variety of sources including engines, piping and other mechanical and operational equipment required on board. Bilges are periodically pumped out to holding tanks which can be transferred to a facility on shore, or the contents can be processed with a separator on board and discharging clean water back to the ocean.
Discharge to the ocean is highly regulated, and the oil content of such water must be accurately monitored and remain within set limits. Bilge water monitors provide this data.

Bilge Water Spares and Filters

We understand that managing a large and often complex array of technical equipment while minimising downtime and costs can be challenging.
AtZ has a wide range of experience across the main propulsion and auxiliary equipment found on a multitude of different vessels. Always looking to assist our customers, where they have sought advice or support, we have developed solutions.
Over time, we have built up a wide supplier network that we are happy to invite our customers to benefit from. Whether a single separator part, or fleet management of a spares programme – we can provide the spares that you require.
