We are thrilled to share some exciting news with our valued customers! You may have noticed that our logo now states “a trading division of MIT.” This marks the beginning of an important transition for AtZ. Soon, we will be operating solely under the MIT name, and the AtZ brand will be phased out.

What Does This Mean for You?

First and foremost, we assure you that this change will not affect the quality of service and support you receive from us. In fact, it will enhance your experience as we combine the strengths and expertise of both brands under one unified name. We remain unwavering in our commitment to providing top-notch service

Working Together for a Seamless Transition

For the past two years, MIT and its engineers have been working on various ATZ projects and jobs. This collaboration has ensured that the same skilled professionals handle all enquiries from both brands. This seamless integration is one of the key reasons we are transitioning and phasing out the ATZ brand. By operating solely under the MIT name, we can streamline our services and provide even better support to our customers.

MIT- A Trusted History with a Customer-Driven Philosophy

In 1974, Rodney Hill established Marine & Industrial Transmissions Ltd (MIT) to design, supply, and service transmissions and driveline systems across the UK. Since then, MIT has grown into a centre of excellence in driveline systems, providing customers with full product life cycle support from system design, supply, commissioning, maintenance, repair, spares, and overhaul or replacement.

Operating from bases in southern and northern England and Northern Ireland, MIT provides comprehensive coverage of the UK and Ireland and established Global Mobile Support Services. MIT has invested in a highly trained and dedicated technical engineering team and a significant inventory of world-class brands of new and refurbished transmissions, driveline systems, and spare parts. Their strategy supports customers’ multiple applications with custom-designed driveline systems and ensures whole-life care.

MIT has powered and maintained equipment for products manufactured by Sunseeker, Irish Rail, Terex, South Boats, and the M.O.D. MIT continues to expand its services and product offerings to maintain its position as one of the major suppliers in the UK of driveline and propulsion solutions to all aspects of the marine, off-road, quarry, rail, military, and associated industries.

Their ever-increasing product portfolio allows them to service applications such as concrete crushers, recycling equipment, locomotives, pleasure marine, and commercial marine, including fishing boats and ferries. Whether the requirement is for production models or a bespoke requirement, they are confident they have the products to satisfy most applications.

Looking Ahead

As we move forward with this transition, we are excited about the opportunities it brings to enhance our services and support for you. The integration with MIT means access to even more resources, expertise, and innovative solutions to meet your needs.

We are committed to making this transition as smooth as possible for you. Thank you for your continued trust and partnership. We look forward to serving you under the MIT name and continuing to support your success.
