For the first year we our joined sister company Marine and Industrial Transmissions on stand at Seawork 2017.
The event was an incredibly successful and allowed us to display our portfolio and marine engineering expertise to an audience within the workboat and commercial sector, which diversifies us from larger shipping and cruise vessels.
Although not our main target market, we are able to apply our extensive knowledge to smaller vessels and recently investigated a series of sterntube seal failures on two new military patrol vessels, recommending a design change which was then adopted by the entire fleet. Both vessels have since been sailing for a further 12 months without incident or need for dry docking.
We were delighted with the reception received from new and old customers at the event, and not only did it cement our relationship with MIT but also introduced us as a supplier to be considered for various sizes of maritime projects.
We look forward to attending the event in 2018 on stand PO7, 3-5th July, Southampton, UK.
